FIFA WORLD CUP

ENGLAND 2-1 TUNISIA: HARRY KANE STRIKES DRAMATIC STOPPAGE TIME WINNER TO SAVE THREE LIONS IN WORLD CUP OPENER - 5 TALKING POINTS

Harry Kane headed a late winner vs Tunisia to dramatically save England's blushes in their World cup opener. The Tottenham striker gave the Three Lions the lead after converting from close range after John Stones' header was spilled.
But Kyle Walker's foul gave Tunisia a penalty, with Ferjani Sassi converting despite Jordan Pickford getting fingertips.
Marcus Rashford was sent on as England chased a winner, but Tunisia remained resolute and defended stubbornly.
Just as hope looked gone, Harry Maguire leaped high and steered the ball towards Kane from a corner and the skipper nodded home in stoppage time to claim a vital three points in Group G.
The three points takes England level with Belgium at the top of the group, though the Red Devils are ahead on goal difference - next up for Gareth Southgate's side is Panama.
